Carefully read Carnival's cruises contract. You could be liable for any fines they have to pay under the Passenger Services Act. [also known as the Jones Act][$350.00 per person}Also you will have to have a US Passport.. Not for the cruise, but to FLY back to the US, it is required.I think getting off a ship from the US in San Juan PR or St. Thomas is no big deal since they are US Territories.Dan
