For those of you tracking the San Diego fires you can go to
signonsandiego website to see an interactive map of the fire areas, those currently burning, and the ones extinguished. There is also a list of burned buildings categorized by zip codes.
Thankfully those horrendous Santa Ana winds have subsided and now they have a handle on most of the fire areas and are able to begin extinguishing some of those flames and some evacuated folks are being allowed back into their neighborhoods. There are some new fires springing up now that the winds have seemed to changed direction, but the original ones aren't quite as threatening. It will be a long time before all the damage is accessed and everyone is allowed back to view the status of their own houses.
My Mom is still staying at my sisters till the smoke is more dispersed.
Does anyone know of an interactive map of the Los Angles area fires? thanks.
