I have not been to Paradise Beach...but was just at Mr Sanchoz in October (and have gone there many, many times). Mr S offers better drinks and food than San Fran and is also "free" to use their tables and lounges. Of course, if you use those things, they expect you to eat or drink with them. Mr S has a small pool, showers, restroom, lockers as well. Give them a try and say HI to Gabriella for me. He is a great guy!!

Really all the beaches are nice. It depends on what you want. If you have lots of teenagers that want all the water toys...then Playa Del Sol may be what you want. Even though there is a charge....it is only $8 per person (last I heard) and they have lots of goodies. The down side is the crowds.

If you want more mature crowd, then Nachi Cocum may be your bag. They do not "charge" to get in, but they do expect you to eat or drink $10.00 per person to use their facilities. They have (or had at last report) the largest pool and very nice facilities.

Mr Sanchoz is a mixture of singles and families. Food and drinks are great. They have motorized water toys for rent near by, also.

Some of the other boards have a guy named Tom from Paradise Beach that advertises for their beach online. Check them out too so that you can make an informed decision.

Remember, whereever you go...do not worry about getting a taxi back to the ship. We have never had to wait for a ride!!! Taxis line up there to take you back the way they line up to take you to the beach.

Paradise Beach is 'free' but they also expect you to eat/drink if you are going to use their lounge chairs. If you don't PB Tom said they will have a user fee for those people which they are in the process of implementing.

We started at Paradise and ended up at San Francisco. It's basically the same beach. San Francisco had parasailing and I got an outdoor massage and they offer hair braiding. It was very nice. Paradise Beach offers snorkel equipment, there's a fake iceberg in the water some people were climbing on. They also offer massages, henna tattoos and hair braiding. We walked from one beach right onto the other, so a decision between the two may not be necessary until you arrive.
