Gerry:Just sailed out of San Francisco two weeks ago. We flew in the day before, and just for the fun of it, we stayed at The Radisson on Fisherman's Wharf with a room that had a balcony overlooking the bay so we could see everything. It was cool. $200.00+ a night, but for just one night, and for the fun of it, I did it! It is within walking distance of everything! Embarkation from San Francisco is not running very smooth yet. Best to arrive early if you don't want to spend 2-3 hours waiting to board the ship.Have a great time!
