Hi Gayle, consider the following:Sunset starts at 5:46 pm, it's totally dark 6:40 pm.The ship arrives at San Juan at 5:00 pm.You have the local beach at ConadaOld San Juan fortificationsThe rainforestShopping - limited, as most stores close after dark?You will have about an hour with the kids before it gets dark.My opinion is that you leave the kids on the ship and go into town and enjoy the night life. I know on the Triumph they have the Camp Carnival to look after the Kids. I'm not sure about the Victory? Anyway, I would hesitate in taking three young kids into San Juan after dark. Good luck!
