My wife and I are going on the Sapphire Princess on 9/26, and my wife is wondering about the Sanctuary. Has anyone used it? How much does it cost for the sessions and are they worth the money? Specifically, is tipping recommended and if so how much. Thank you for any help you can give us.

I just got off of the Sapphire on Saturday and yes there is a Thermal Sanctuary on board. It consists of 3 different saunas, 2 multi-head showers and 5 thermal stone lounge chairs. It costs $85 a week per person or $149 for a couple.
We bought the pass and used it everyday. It can get full on sea days. We turned in our cruise cards at the desk where they gave us robes and locker keys. We would get cups of orange water and enjoyed the sanctuary every day - well worth it for us.

good to know it does NOT have THE Sanctuary ( as on the Emerald Princess et all )..
but good to know The Sapphire Princess *DOES* have a thermal sanctuary..thanks to you Zip, and Megs..clarification is nice..
