Is there a website I can check to see how the bookings are going for this cruise. I can't seem to find too many folk who have booked this particular cruise.
Marleneann.
Dont' know about a web site, but I just booked the Sapphire Princess for Jan 18, 2005. Just wondering what you chose for a cabin. I am wondering about the balcony cabins and if they are covered, or partially covered. Going on the Grand Princess on April 11, 2004 and spent a lot of time choosing the right cabin because of the balcony situation. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated.
G'day!...nice to talk to you.
I have only booked an inside cabin.
Not that I wouldn't have loved a cabin with a nice big balcony...but there is that little thing called "money. *G*
Any way ...what tours are you interested on your cruise?.
I think it will be much cooler then here in Australia ...even if it is summer time in New Zealand.
Thanks for the response. I haven't really checked out any of the tours as of yet. I do know that we will be staying in Sydney for 2 days before we cruise and will be doing some sightseeing in the city. As for New Zealand, I want to see as much as time will allow. Have you choosen any tours yet for New Zealand?
Not yet...but we are staying at the Sky City Hotel for two days before we start the cruise.
I believe a tour of this tower is worthwhile. It costs about $13 (NZD)per person.
John and I are booked on the Sapphire for 6th January. We are an English couple and will be flying out to NZ a week early for a land trip before the cruise.
We have not been able to contact anyone till now who will be on this cruise, either here or on the CruiseCritics site.
We are staying in a BA grade cabin with a balcony. We are splashing out a bit as this is a very big trip for us. We will be away from home for a month in total, with 9 nights in Oz at the end of the cruise.
Are you from downunder yourself?
Go to my website and click on the "Home" button. This will bring up a menu page.
Click on "Where I Live" .
You might like to click on the two buttons for info on my town Buderim on the Sunshine Coast and Queensland.
You must come to Queensland on your holiday or you haven't seen the best part.
