Cruising Alaska in July and I'm putting the final touches on my excursions. I have an afternoon seaplane tour already scheduled, but that doesn't leave until 2:30, so I'm trying to decide what to do in the morning. It seems like the town of Ketchikan can be "done" in an hour or two so that leaves 3 - 4 hours for more sightseeing! The tours for Totem Bight, a bike ride in Clover Pass, Saxman Villageand Tongass Park all look inviting. Since Totem & Clover are the opposite way of Saxman (not sure where Tongass is in relation to those areas), it doesn't seem like I can do both, so..... which one should I do or do you have suggestions for other excursions?
