Rainbird Deluxe Tours is an excellent choice.  However, like all the independent tour companies  - they are  not allowed to take visitors into the clan house for viewing the

Cape Fox Dancers nor are they allowed to view the video that gives an historic perspective of Alaskan Natives.  You also (at certain times when the ship's tours are in the Carving Shed) you'll have to view it  through windows from the outside.  That's not bad - you get a much better view of the carvers and the articles being carved by being above the work space and getting a bird's eye view.

Rainbird's coaches are the most comfortable of all the tours sold on the dock.  The price is about $30 - and you see more of Ketchikan than with similar tours.

The only tours sold where you can view the Video and Dancers at Saxman is the tour sold aboard the ship.  It is more expensive because you do experience more entertainment at Saxman.
