Funny, I noticed these "windows" about 15 minutes after sitting down for the first time in the buffet, and wow, did I notice it. I thought something was wrong and I got a dizzy spell. I am not comfortable with heights either but once I realized what I was seeing and calmed down I really enjoyed the view. Very unique, we met some friend for breakfast every morning and were always early so we had our "table" with the "deck view."Several people have mentioned they aren't comfortable with heights. I have no trouble on any deck looking down when the ship is at sea, when it is docked I can not look over the rail, same distance down, different perspective.
