What do you prefer in a cruise , more sea days or more ports days
I like days at sea the best . I can sit on my balcony enjoy a book, stare at the sea or go on deck mingle with the people at the pool and enjoy the moment being on a ship at sea with no land around me..

Definitely sea days. We don't really go on cruises for the destinations. We go for the ships and take part in as much relaxation and as much entertainment as possible. And of course the occasional midnight buffet! :thumb

We are Sea Day people. But we do appreciate the Ports and learning about new countries. But more sea days to port days suits us just fine.

Port days. I get enough of sitting around home reading a book.
I can go to the beach whenever I want to look at the sea. I prefer to look at breaking waves. Flat expanses hold my attention for about the 2 minutes it takes to realise that there is nothing else out there. DH can stare at it for hours.

When I book a cruise...I want to enjoy the CRUISE. I like the ships and everything about them...I like the shops, the entertainment, the entertainment, the balconies, the room service, the casinos...I can go on and on. But I especially love the movement and the feel of the breeze and the sight of the beautiful wake in the rear of the vessal in the glow of the moonlight. The ports are fine but you can fly to any of them if that's what you wish. I enjoy the sailing. (Oh and the eats!!!) :chef

Count me in with the sea days people.
Seeing the destinations is nice, but I have the most fun by FAR on board.

I prefer cruises that begin and end with a day at sea. In between an ideal cruise for me would be two port days followed by one day at sea (following by two port port days and another day at sea ...).

I LOVE sea days. We often take the same cruise 2 times just because of the amount of sea days.

I love sitting on the balcony at sun set and watching the sun go down or
looking up at the sky at night seeing all the stars.
