Hi Everyone:help

My 1st time on this site (previously only cruise critics) as just found this site it tonight and hoping to find a roll call for above cruise as little luck on other site (this will be our 2nd on Sea princess, last one - Nov 2005)

Hubby Derek and I are from County Durham and we fly out from Manchester International/UK into Jamaica joining ship in Montego bay on 9th Feb 2008 for 2 weeks around Caribbean, have already booked some trips (posted on CC) with princess plus one direct with Eli tours (Eco tour 18th feb) in Antigua.
We have opted for outside cabin this trip as last one was inside which was okay but found lighting a bit dim (and as I now spend most working days in a windowless room thought the extra was worth it).

Look forward to hearing from anyone travelling on this trip either full or part voyage.

Hi Denise,

We were on the Sea Princess last March.

She is a great ship, you will have a wonderful time. Recommend train trip on St. Kitts. Our best cruise yet.

Cheers,
Zip

Hi Zip

We visited St Kitts and did coach trip (loved the Gardens) when we did the Sea Princess in Nov 2005 (not on our present cruise) just at end of hurricane season so we experienced a few odd days of torrential rain (worst on St Lucia about 4th day) which came and went throughout day and as result the camcorder got damp so it was out of commission rest of trip, got 2 this time.
Our favourite trip was a private boat trip on St Vincent with Waynes tours (an absolute hoot)
I see you are on the Grand princess in March, is that from Barbados-Barbados, would not have minded trying that one but thought all other ships for Caribbean were out of USA and after last trip decided never to join/depart from USA again.
Have a great time on your trip

Thanks Denise,

We are on a seven day cruise leaving FFL.

Being Cdn it is much less expensive for us to leave from the US. We are able to clear US customs in Canada.

I know what you mean by not wanting to leave via a US port. That is why the Sea Princess now leaves only from Barbados.

Have a great cruise.

Cheers,
Zip
