Sea Sickness on the Constellation?

My wife and I are sailing on a 9 night Eastern Caribbean out of Cape Liberty NJ on the Constellation on Nov 10th. This is our first time on X. We have sailed on the RC Navigator of the Seas and the Carnival Triumph. Both of these ships are quite a bit larger than the Constellation. Does any one how she compares as far as stability and movement. We are both a little prone to motion sickness but have not had a problem on either of our first to cruises. I am woundering if we need to get a reliefe band for my wife, she can't tolerate the motion sickness meds. We have read over and over again about the step up on X and can't wait to go.

I see below that you are going from NJ south. Out in the Atlantic just about every ship will give you some motion regardless of how big. And depending on the weather !!! ???? I have been on the M class ships in water that has made quite a few ill so I would tell you this. Go armed with the ability to defeat it somehow. Fortunately we do not have a major problem and do not have any experience is aids. If you go to the link up above and type sea sickness in the "search " area you will get all sorts of ideas. You will for sure enjoy the ship.

As I said in another trend, ship size and stability have little to do with each other. The QE2 will sail much more stable than any of the modern ships regardless of their size because it was designed to sail the North Atlantic.

I'm with the others, get the most appropriate remedies for sea sickness as it is possible you'll encounter rough conditions on your way from NJ to the Caribbean.

The Constelation has an excellent stability rating according to a number of sites. When we sailed on the Triumph which only has a good rating and we had no trouble. Thanks again to everyone for the great input. We will plan and pack accordingly, thanks again and everybody enjoy your next crusie Nov. can't get here soon enough.
