Seasick on Fishing Excursion

Are the waters rough around Ketchikan? Is there a chance we could get seasick? Will we need to use the "patch" or other seasick product on the fishing excursion? Any advice on this subject? (The patch works for me but makes my mouth extremely dry. I am trying not to use it!)

When you are "Outside" and the ships do spend a good deal of time outside vs in the passage you may indeed run into rough water. We did.

good idea by cruisegry. Personally if it is really rough I just doze off for a bit and I'm then good to go for the rest of the cruise.

Some people use pressure wrist bands to help with motion sickness. Some people take ginger tablets for motion sickness. Bonine is good and is non drowsey. Dramamine can be purchased as non drowsey or drowsey so read labels if you try this, but it can be very effective.
