Did anyone purchase a transfer from the seattle airport to the cruise ship port? I was wondering if there was a way to purchase this ahead of time, or what service to use when take our cruise.

Thanks!

We are leaving on the Diamond on Aug 28. I found some information in a brochure re: getting to the pier...it was cheaper than the Princess Transfers.

Sea-Tac Airport Taxi....to Pier 30...$29 TOTAL!!!!! (plus tip, of course) (206) 362-2000 ("Tom" quoted me this price and told me to just call 3 days prior to make the reservation.)

Princess charges $18 per person and we'd rather have a ride from a taxi (suppose to be a towncar...not convinced though) so we can get him to stop at a store for us first.

WOW $18 per person!! $72 total for the trip for 2 people is crazy!!! Thanks for the information! Heck it is cheaper to park my car at the airport for the trip then it is for the princess transfer!

I am leaving on my first cruise ever this sunday the 29th from seattle on the norweigan star. I am so excited I can not wait!!!!!!If you call 1206-622-1424,the shuttle express they will pick you up at airport and take you to the pier for 21.25 for two people, more than that I cannot help you with. You go to the third floor of the parking garage and that is where they are at and they will take you to the pier. Hope this helps.

hi,
was following your post, do I call the the 1206 622 1424 at the airport? I'm going to a hotel in downtown near the port but wouldnt mind saving a few bucks here. IS it one of those push buttons that you can call from Seattle Airport?
Thank you

I replied to your other post, I would call in advance and make a reservation like we did, we are taking the shuttle from airport to hotel, then fromhotel to pier, thenfrom pier when we get back, to airport,63.75 in all for three trips!!Oh course do not forget to tip something!!!! Also if you have time please go to the market place, watch the flying fish, have a coffee at the first starbucks ever, go on the ferry, downtown waterfront, these three things are the best of seattle, but if you cant do but one thing try the market place, old cobblestone streets.fruits and vegetables that are huge to buy, and so cheap, bunches and bunches of flowers for 5 bucks a pop. You will have to go back to Seattle sometime just to enjoy it all!!!! Korina

Here is an idea we did on our trip. Rent a car at the airport. Take a tour around Seattle on your own, then drop the car off downtown. Hertz, Avis and Budget all have downtown locations. Dropped bags off at hotel, then the car and walked a few blocks back to hotel. We did this for less than $35. Day of week might make a difference.

Korina,
What's the downtown ferry thing you mentioned? We can take a ferry somewhere?
