I never take anything off the ship, except water in my generic water bottle. Sure, you can order sandwiches, pack them, take them with you...but for me, it's always fun to find stuff off the ship -- we're in the US, after all; food is safe! There are lots of interesting cafes, sandwich shops, and yes, fancy restaurants in all the ports. Seems kinda cheap to me, to pack food from the ship!We're leaving in less than a week for Alaska, with friends. They'll be packing their lunches; we won't.
