Will be stopping at Calica on the Imagination Oct. 6th. Can you all tell me your favorite excursions and who you booked them through. We do not like to snorkel or scuba. Would like to hear your suggestions.
I used Eddie with Edventure tours. We arranged our own, my daughters and I enjoyed him so much 2 years ago on our cruise that when we spent our Spring Break in Cozumel this year we headed over to the main land for another full day with him. We did Tulum, snorkling in the Cenotes, saw monkeys, Zip-lined, swam w/Sea turtles and ate lunch on the beach at a great place. I have attached his web site, check it out. http://www.edventuretours.com.mx/Home/index.htm
We took a Carnival excursion....the Cancun City and Shopping tour. We've always heard a lot about Cancun, yet had never been there. The bus was nice, though the air conditioner wasn't as good as some. We had an enjoyable time and saw some of the bluest water we've seen - very much like the water in Hawaii. It was a full day...enjoyable...and we thought it was worth the cost.
We stopped at Calica on a Celebrity Mercury cruise a few years ago. It is a wooden pier at a rock quarry. As you cross the pier, a conveyor belt carries crushed stone over your head. We booked Xcaret through the cruise line and had a great time. As Gayle siad, it is the main attraction. Buses took us there in about 5 minutes.
