If you don't want to dress up, don't go to the dining room. The Windjammer is open and you can go there. We had an evening on one of our cruises after a day of sun that we just didn't feel like getting dressed up, so we didn't. But we didn't walk into the dining room dressed like that with the attitude of "hey, we didn't feel like dressing up but here we are. Deal with it because it's about US." We had a great meal at the Windjammer with other people wearing shorts.The dining room is a place to be treated with respect, and to treat OTHERS with respect.
