Family has invited us to join them on a princess 7 day cruise late june of 2010 and we don't know if we should wait to book or go ahead now. We have cruised before and usually have booked a balcolny but are wondering if the prices are high when first announced. Thanks

Book now. If you book now and prices go up, you can keep the old lower price. If prices go down, you can request the new lower price. However, if don't book now and prices go up, you cannot request the old lower price.

Seriously, the 2010 prices are skyrocketing compared to the rock bottom 2009 recession pricing...you've got nothing to lose by booking ASAP. The cruise lines seem to think 2010 will warrant far higher fares. Grab the deals while you can! As stated, if the price drops, you will always get the difference.

I agree too, book ASAP. I have been seeing the pricing go up for our 2010 and early 2011 bookings compared to pricing this year but if the economy stays the same the pricing will fall like this year. Cruise lines have an empty sailing ~6 months prior to sailing the pricing starts crashing. You just need to keep an eye on your booking price until you make final payment. If it drops you can have it adjusted.
