I'm looking to book a cruise for my daughter for her honeymoon the end of July and it will likely leave out of Miami. Can anyone tell me how far it is from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami and does anyone know how much the shuttle service is for 2 adults? I can get cheaper airfair into Ft. Lauderdale but don't know if it's worth it by the time I pay for round trip shuttle service. Thanks...

We used Tri County Airport Express last Jan. from Biscayne Bay to Ft Lauderdale airport. We could see our ship across the bay from our hotel. They charged $36.00 for the two of us. I assume the price is the same either way. It's about 25 miles, and the other shuttles and taxis started at $50.00 up. If your interested you can call 1-800-244-8252 for a current price. Good Luck.

They only go from FLL to Port of Miami.....not from the port back to FLL airport. We just had to hire a town car for the return trip...$70 plus tip

Hi , When you exit arrivals at the airport in Ft. lauderdale you will see lot of white vans to your right. normally the rate is $18.00 pp to the port one way. The cruise lines offer shuttles , they can be purchased at the airport on arrival. Just look for a person carrying a sign for your cruise lines. if your purchase return to the ship and back it runs about $25.00 roundtrip. The advantage with the vans is that you don't have to wait so long , sometimes the ship shuttles wait for a full bus or spread out groups arriving at the ship tio ease embarkation conjestion. Cheers...Happy sailing.=COOL

If you book the ship's shuttle service I have a tip for you regarding tips. (no pun intended).=COOL

We took Carnivals deal from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami. The pre-paid price included all tips. But BEWARE of the pushy bus drivers who try to intimidate you into another round of tips for removing the luggage from the bottom of the bus for you. When I questioned my guy about the pre-paid tip he got VERY angry that I had the nerve to question him on his double tip scam. I saved that extra tip for the guys at the pier who took the bags to the ship.
