We are flying into FLL at the end of August - I have been doing some research and found that renting a car from FLL to the Miami airport and then getting a free shuttle from there to the port of miami is the cheapest way - $49 rental from Alamo - we also have a family of 5. We will be renting a car to get back to FLL after the cruise as well - that way we can enjoy the morning and afternoon on our own until we have to be back at the airport for our 3:50 flight home.Enjoy your cruise in Oct!
