We prefer the cabins on deck 8 due to the overhang. For me it is not worth the extra money for the premium cabins on deck 9 . Both cabins are the same size and I really don't care for the items included with the deck 9 bookings. I don't think noise would be a problem in the deck 9 cabins. I had heard a rumor that the deck 9 cabins were the last to go and that is why they turned them into a premium deck to draw people to booking that level.
