I don't know if any of you had the same experiences of bumping into people you know on ship!
Years ago on our 3rd voyage we went to a magic show. The magician wanted a volunteer from the audience and I asked my wife that the volunteer looked familiar? It turned out to be the president of our school board! As we are both teachers. We still to this day tease him about his act on stage.=docdance On cruise 4 we ran into our neighbors just a mile down the road! Small world on a BIG ship:wave

Oh yes.....it's a very small world so I laugh at people who think I'M crazy if I ask them if they know someone I know even if they live in a large city.

On a cruise ship in the Mediterranean....I'm from Ontario...met a woman in BC who was dating a familiar last name.....turned out to be the uncle of a guy I was dating in Toronto......unfortunately, he was also married and she didn't know it....

Also...got an invitation to the next table in formal dining in the Caribbean.....when asked where we were from, turned out to be one of our ministers in our federal government who lived not far from our home.
