We have never had a problem personally, but I have read of those who have....although it is very very rare!!!!It is usually when there has been a cigar smoker or really really heavy chain smokers.The good news is that there is a remedy that does not require changing cabins. Should this rare event happen to you, simply find your cabin steward and ask him/her to please do a complete "replacement" of your cabin.That means replacing all duvets,duvet covers, towels, pillows and can even mean the mattresses if the offensive smell is strong enough. Also ask them to lightly shampoo your carpets (usually takes just a few hours to dry) and then hit the room again with their magic spray.Sadly it is more work for the cabin steward, but that is only way to fix the problem.
