Soda Charges

Does Princess still charge for soda while onboard? If so, how much? We (hubby & I) cruised with them in 2006 and they had some sort of card you could purchase instead of paying per glass. My neighbor & I are booked on the Aug. 12 Inside Passage to/from SF and I'd like to tie up some loose ends.

While on the subject of the little extra charges, I'm surprized they still charge for ice cream. I am willing to pay for the extras, but other cruise lines include everything but alcohol, specialty coffees, and the like.

Not sure of the exact price. But on most of the lines, it's based on the length of the cruise. For a 7-day, it's usually around $40-50 (varries from line to line).

RE: Welcome on-board the Cruise @ddicts virtual ship and the Sea Princess. There is a large group of Cruise @ddicts (Called the Duck Crew) going on that sailing. Look for us. Thanks for the info. That's what I remember from my previous Princess cruise. I'll be looking for y'all on the 12th!

Princess still charges for ice cream. However around, I think, 3 PM they usually serve free ice cream in the buffet area. Generally 2 different flavors are available.
