For Captains Club members, bookings can be made on the new X ship begining on June 21, with availability to the general market starting on July 5. Also, the Captains Club web site has partial deck plans showing the new room layouts and giving a little information about the rest of the ship.

As rumored, the itineraries are all Eastern Caribbean out of FLL, sailing 7 days cruises, Sunday to Sunday.

It sure seems to have caused a bit of stir.. at 2800+ it's big but not as big as some I guess.

I would be hard pressed to book just yet not even knowing if it has a pool:D

Just kidding of course it has a pool more than one but the decks plans available only show cabins and suites. Nothing on public rooms entertainmemnt area's etc.

Will have to see what gives after it's actually floating with pax. :)

I'm with you, Bob. I too want to wait and see what the ship has to offer. I hope they the retained much of what was "right" in the M-class ships (not the pods!). But, we will all know fairly soon, so more speculation would just waste air.

YOu have GOT to be kidding me! Mind you, we live two hours away from Fort Lauderdale, but "wait and see what the ship has to offer?" IMO that is lame. Have you seen her? She is incredible! I got home from work Tuesday and the postcard from Celebrity was in the mail. One look at this beautiful ship and I was ready to book! My wife is calling our TA as we speak.

In all honesty, what do you mean by "what the ship has to offer?" It's a Celebrity cruise ship. Isn't that enough? In other words, it will be first class all the way, just as all the other ships and amenities. I fully trust them with my cruise dollar. Always have and have NEVER been disappointed.

Personally, my decision to cruise this ship does not hinge on whether she has a bowling alley or not.

Way to go CB !!!!!! I just one of those Conservative Canadians. Got to see what I'm getting before I'd book. Really want to know how the flow of 2800 pax goes before I book. I was a little leary of trhe M class when it came out and it worked for us so likely everything will be ok with these. I'm an X fan also and I'm sure that the ship(s) in the class will be great but I'm not jumping in the deep end until I see what I can see..

We booked the maiden voyage on 12/14/08. We were on the Century maiden voyage back in 95, at least there are cabin layouts for the Solstice. For the Century, we booked with no info, just gave the cabin category we wanted and approximate location on the ship.
