on recent sailing as of today (16 FEB 2011) anyways the word is that the battle had been won in the latest noro breakout.
It is no fun being ill with this but I know from personal experience on a ship with more than a few cases that X knows how to beat it. As a matter of fact all cruise line use the same appraoch to a fix. It is hard on the crew and the passengers are inconvenienced somewhat because of it but as we all know "Ship" happens and we will get over it.
