I am booked on the fascination for January 2nd. I booked a 4A Guarantee. I called my rep at carnival and she said the ship is only 1/3 full. When I go to see what cabins are available 4A only offering a Guarantee at this time and 4E is completely not available anymore. There are plenty of cabins on all other decks but I have noticed lots of shuffling going on of cabins. Some days some available some days they are not. What makes this happen?

keep an eye out, one week before we cruised the prices dropped and we got upgraded, keep on your TA, we asked for an upgrade rather than a shipboard credit, and she said its easier to get an upgrade rather than a credit. 2 reasons,

1- the cabin youd get upgraded to, would have been left empty other wise, so why not put you in it, and have a better chance of selling you lower cabin and fill both-

2- give you the empty upgrade cabin, you paid anyway, then they dont have to give you any money back on shipboard credit, they still make out

Hi! You answered my post about my deal on a 4A, Jan. 12, which the Carnival rep instantly bumped up to a 4D. I thought that was the top inside cat. Now I am confused..is there a 4E on the Fascination? I went to Travelocity and it does not mention a 4E at all. (I like looking there to see what is left, I like the flashing cabin thingy!)

I found the 4Es on the deck plan! Wow those are in a nice spot. Guess they sell out quick. I have never seen one available, ever, and this is my third time booking the Fascination. And lots of hours researching availability on Fantasy-class ships in general, on Travelocity. Never ever saw a 4E pop up, that is why I had never heard of one. Thank you for enlightening me! :) Rosie
