Hi All,

We are sailing on the Carnival Destiny on 4/30/06 out of San Juan to Aruba, Dominica, Barbados, and St. Thomas.

Has anyone booked any independant excursions for any of these Islands? We would like to book excursions off of the ship as we have done on other islands, but since I have been to any of the above islands except St. Thomas, I am calling on all of you for your help.

If you have any names, web sites, phone numbers, etc. I would be extremely greatful to you.

Also, if anyone has any favorite things to do on any of these islands, I would love know. Any good drinking holes, beaches, shops, etc. would be great.

Thanks a bunch

We're leaving the 13th of Feb. on the Legend going to St. Maarten, Martinique and Barbados. Second time for me on this cruise. We booked Silver Moon II in Barbados. I've read the reviews and nothing but good reviews . In fact, we don't arrive until noon and they have a luncheon cruise that leaves at 10:00am. Several called from our cruise to tell them they were interested in the luncheon cruise but we get there too late. So they are having a "special" luncheon" excursion for us at 1:30. Very nice people.
It's a 5 hour excursion including drinks, lunch, snorkeling with the turtles, etc. The price is right too.
I don't know if I can give you their web site on this board, but just do a search for Silver Moon. If it's okay, I'll give you their web site.
One reviewer said it was the highlight of his cruise. He went on Christmas Eve.

On Dominica the Island Highlights tour is excellenr with a stop at the Emerald Pool and Trafagar Falls. On St. Thomas we ALWAYS go over to St. John via the Red Hook Ferry and do one of their lovely beaches .. either Trunk Bay or Cinnamon. Enjoy!!! :thumb

Agree! We did this excursion last Feb. Best $20 spent. We're leaving on Sunday and if we were going to St. Thomas, I would be booked with godfrey tours.
