Has anyone sailed the Southern Caribbean???? If so what are your favorite ports??? We are wanting to take a Southern Caribbean cruise and need some info. Thanx everyone. :sunny:

I went to Tortola on a cruise last summer, beautiful island. Much less poverty on this island than others. They have a small town next to the port for high end watches etc. However you will need to book a tour or take a taxi to get to beaches and other areas of the island.

and if you go to Tortola, think about getting a ferry to Jost van Dyke. It is a most beautiful beach.
And the home of the "Painkiller" as first served in the "Soggy Dollar Bar".

also "Ivans stress free bar" this bar is at the end of the beach. and is not manned. you go in, help yourself and leave the money in a jar.
if you walk down to this bar, wear shoes.
although you are looking at a wonderful sandy beach, there is a small area where you go over stones. Not much, but enough to make those tootsies hurt.

We visited Aruba and Curaco last year. Lots to see and great beaches. I think any island in the southern Carribean would be great to visit.
