Now that the Sovereign has a rockwall, how much of a wait is there to try that? We are only going on a 3-night cruise. And how hard is it?

Never looked like much of a wait......it is open certain times...........
They have levels from real easy(for little kids) to hard.......so you can choose whatever level you'd like......

Make sure you show up at the rock wall with socks on. We saw several people turned back because they didn't have the required socks. I'm 56 and made it to the top so it isn't "that" hard!

I'm going on the sovereign 3 night cruise also, when are you going? Mine is May 4th.

We are going May 11. It wasn't planned, but then I saw $219 for Florida residents on that date only, just had to take that. So my son will miss 3 days of school, but it is worth it, and he is definitly happy about it.
Thanks for the sock tip. I never take socks on a cruise, so wouldn't have had any.

No tickets................the ONLY ships that have tickets are the ships with an ice skating show......none of that on the Sovereign,,

The rock wall isn't that much of a wait.. each person takes like 2-5 minutes to actually go up the wall. They usually do 2 at a time. I would say a 1/2 hour wait is max. It takes more time to put your gear on than to go up the wall. They are scheduled open at certain times though and they close early. If you get there when it opens, you will be fine. Just check ur compass to see when it will be.
I went on an at sea day. There were probably 10 ppl in front of me... only took about 15 minute wait. Besides, its fun to watch people struggle getting up the wall.D
