When we first arrived in St Thomas (my favourite port) we randomly chose a tour guide who happenedto have been Mr. St. Thomas 15 years before. His truck is bright red and detailed with his picture on it. He was the best tour guide and it was $20/person.Most of the taxis are the open air type and you could easily get one to take just your group of nine. I wouldrecommend a tour of the island if you haven't been before and when we saw Magens Bay from aboveWOW. Our tour guide dropped us in town for shopping then we returned to the ship and changedinto our bathing suits and headed for Magens Bay.This was Jan 02. We were there about 1.5 hours and had a great time. The weather was perfect and it was not crowded. It really is a beautiful beach.Enjoy.
