OK, I am going to give you some great advice.
We were a party of 11. Everyone had different ideas as to what they wanted to do while in St. Thomas.
So, I hired a 15 passenger van and driver for the entire day to take all of us or some of us anywhere we wanted to go.
Total cost was $25 per person.
We went to the top of the mountain (a must) fantastic views of St Thomas, megans bay and surrounding islands
Went to Megan's bay
Coki Beach
Lunch at the "Love Shack"
Shopping (regular)
Shopping at a craft fair (flea market)
Sight-seeing tour
We were picked up a 10am when we docked and were dropped off at 5pm at the ship
While some of us snorkeled at Coki beach, he took others for more extensive shopping.
