st thomas on Labor Day

Does anyone know if the majority of the stores remain open on Labor Day ??
We leave for our cruise on Sunday Sept 5th and arrive in St Thomas on Monday Sept 6th, which is Labor Day.

I am a native Saint Tomian now living stateside . . . used to work at A.H.Riise, believe me when a cruise ship is in town the shops are OPEN. Tourists are the main source of income for the island. Have fun!!!
