We were on the star last year in a quad with 4 people - 2 adults and 16 and 20 year olds. Contrary to most people, we never felt real crowded. There was a bunk bed and the others were lined up when pulled out. We staggered bathroom times, brought a power strip so that we could dry hair, use curling irons, etc. in the cabin while someone was in the bathroom. It should be fine for 3 people
