News posts on another web site report that the company that just purchased Oceana has purchased a 50% interest in NCL from Star

I read the same thing, in fact I have read a few reports. It sounds like a win/win for NCL. too bad this will more than likely be the end of NCLA. I would give them 2 more years at best.

This alwo ends all the talk that was flying around about 2 months ago about Carnival buying NCL. I didn't beleive that for 2 seconds.

I don't think it's gonna be great news for NCLA, I'm not so sure it'll means doo0m for NCLA. I believe the pulling of the Pride of Hawaii will cause fares for the remaining ships to rise high enough so they can break even.
From what I've read from others, NCLA can hire more foreign crew for the remaining two ships, hopefully this will help with the perceived lack of service aboard NCLA ships.
Time will tell whether NCLA can ever make a profit. If it doesn't, again from what I've read elsewhere, Star will get one ship, and NCL will get the other. Which ship do you think NCL should keep, and which do you think Star will take?
