I'm nearby but claim to be no expert. Just when you think you got things worked out they change and "Ship" happens.Glad to help as best I can. The train if you take it up and back does not give you much time in whistler at all. Couple hours I think if I remember off the website. So check that vs a vehicle on your own. The train or the drive is great and especially if the weather is good. They are working on the road for the Olympics (2010) and it gets better as we speak. I assume you are going next season so they should have lots of the work completed.Its good that you planned a day in Victoria everything over there takes time to get to/ and back because of the ferry.
