Has anyone stayed in one of the staterooms on the Spa deck of the Victory? We are going Spring Break next year.

Thanks,
Gayle

Gayle,

I haven't been on the Voctory yet, we are set to go in January but we did go on the Triumph sister ship and our room was on the Spa Deck. It was an awesome room, especially since originally we had a inside cabin on the bottom deck and got upgraded to the Spa deck. Any way the room has many great points, one being when you walk in the entire wall is a window to look out to sea, great when leaving port. Also location is the best, you are right near the elevators and stairs that go everywhere on the ship, right next to the spa, and if you have kids the Camp Carnival is right there also. Our favorite part is that we could go to the end of our hallway past about 4 rooms and take the door that went outside and you were on the tiered deck of the lido deck, so it was a matter of a minute to get to the pools, chairs, and buffetts. I just asked to be upgraded to the Spa deck again becuase we enjoyed it so so much last time and found out they needed our originally scheduled lido deck ocean view room so they had upgraded us to a category 11 suite with a balcony, I don't know how we got so luck two times in a row but it has definately given us something to look forward to. Without the Suite I would definately love to have the Spa deck again. Have fun!! Any other questions feel free to email me.

I had a cabin on the SPA Deck on the Victory. It was very good. In the cabin you have the ceiling to floor window. The window goes from one side to the other side. You have no one walking in front of the window unless the can walk on air. you have a sleeper sofa. The cabin that I had - has an upper that comes out from the ceiling. The room is larger than the balcony room. We had more than enough room for my grandmother's wheelchair and a plastic chair that we took from my parent's balcony room. I don't have my cabin my number with me, but the cabin that we had was port side, which gave my grandmother the opportunity to look at the city w/o getting off of the ship. I enjoyed the cabin more than my parent's balcony. The only downside is we had to walk a long way to get to the dining room which was on the other side of the ship. To get to the breakfast buffet you had to down a flight of stairs then up if it happens to rain and you don't won't to get wet. Take care. Karen

Thanks for the replies. Did you feel more motion being towards the top of the ship? We've always stayed on the lower levels (with an ocean view, of course!)

NEVER FELT MUCH MOTION THAT I CAN RECALL, MUCH WORSE IN THE DINING ROOM ON THE BACK OF THE SHIP THAN CABIN. I TEND TO GET PRETTY MOTION SICK AND NEVER EXPERIENCED IT IN OUR CABIN. HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL.
