Many folks have traveled on many cruises. It would be nice if everyone would send a short note re. their room number and deck, and, on which ship. Tell us if the location was good; or tell us if the balcony was good, or if the inside rooms were satisfactory. Tell us if there were quirks about the room so that when we novices are making our plans, we can consider your opinions. Thank you.

We were in Cabin 8124 on the Summit this past February and booked the same cabin on the Millinnium . next November.

It was not far from the elevator and both the rear and mid ship steps.

Thank you for your comments...this is exactly the type of info that us cruise neophytes need. Anyone else with some stataeroom info?

We were in cabin 9092 on the Millenium and the noise from the pool grill above was terrible. While it was great to have a balcony, we didn't care for the huge overhang which prevented a view of the sky. M class ships are great, just avoid Sky deck under the pool area.

We were in Sky Suite 1202 on Mercury a year and a half ago- wonderful room with extra large balcony (no "V" shaped cutout)

We were in Royal Suite 6139 on Millennium last September - can't be beat. The RS balconies on this ship only have about 1/3 of the balcony covered and since they stick out further than all the decks above, you can be seen from up there - not much privacy. The cover is large enough to cover the jacuzzi and the table and chairs. This suite also has 2 entertainment centers with plasma screen TVs and a CD player. We liked it so well we booked the one next door for our upcoming Atlantic crossing on 4/27. (the same one was already taken)

Thanks for the info about being under the pool. I turned down an upgrade because of that and asked to be one deck lower.
