I have seen in a few posts that people have stayed on the Queen Mary before checking on in Long Beach. I am going on my first cruise in October and we will be leaving out of Long Beach. I was wondering if any one had any suggestions/experience with staying at the Queen Mary the night before the cruise leaves.1. Does it make it easier to check in with Carnival the next morning. I am guessing just not having to fight all the cars coming and going would make it a little easier2. Do you get to check in earlier since you are there. (I do understand that this does not get you on the ship eariler)I would like to get up, check in and then go back to the Queen Mary for breakfast3. Any suggestions on rooms on the Queen Mary ( I understand some are not that great)Again ANY suggestions would be great. I am new to this whole thing - but VERY excited. Staying at the Queen Mary (and the cruise) will be a birthday present to myself.
