still no documents, 4 days to sail

Leaving on the 28th, and still no documents, Carnival said they would Fed-Ex them on Friday the 19th, but as of today 12/23/03 Only one set of tickets had arrived. I'm starting to get worried! Asked for upgrade due to their blunder and was told the cruise ship was sold out. This trip has been paid for ,in full ,since July 03. Has anyone else had this problem? What if the paperwork doesn't come in time?

Not to worry! If you have your booking # (Your TA or Carnival should supply that for you), simply check with the porter at the pier and he will have a manifest showing your cabin # so that you can check yur luggage. At the check in line, simply supply your booking # and your ID and all should be well. If it were I, I would also carry along any documentation relating to the booking also, such as credit card statements, email confirmations, etc. Good luck!

I got my documents almost a month before sailing. I don't travel until 1/4 and have had them about 2 weeks now!

Have you registered online? If you have printout a copy of that registration or have your TA do it for you and use that. As others said you only need your ID's and booking numbers and they will be able to let you know which cabin you have at the pier.

Did you check the docs you have----They are now combining everyone in the docs-There are three of us and we got one set of docs with everyones info in it. Cost cutting for them
Hope this is the case.

Do you have a FedEx tracking number? Have you thought about calling 1-800-Go-FedEx to track the status of your package? Or, just open another browser and plug that number into www.fedex.com and you'll see where it is.
