Most of our cruises have been on Celebrity vessels on which a string quartet played on a regular schedule in Cova Cafe. The schedule was announced in the ship's daily paper. Is there a string quartet aboard the Serenade of the Seas? Does the quartet play at scheduled times in a comfortable venue? The reason that I ask the latter question is that on our Princess cruises, the ship did carry a string quartet, but they did not play on a regular or announced schedule. When they did play, it was almost always in the busy atrium, an area with little seating and not a very condusive space to a string quartet.
