I did a sub tour in Jamaica a couple of years ago. during a land based vacation. It was OK. I enjoy snorkeling more. I doubt I'd do another one. If there's somebody in your group who has mobility issues or otherwise wouldn't get to see undersea life, it's better than nothing.
