We book a cruise aboard Carnival next Jan 2012.
we booked a suite . Are there any perks to booking a suite

The perks associated with booking a suite on Carnival are less than any line I have sailed on. Basically, 'ya get a larger cabin and priority embarkation; that's it! Want some real perks; try HAL or Princess!

Works for me!

(plus ya get that really cool VIP logo on your Booking Summary)

We have 2 rooms booked on our next cruise (1 is a non-suite) they told us they would link them and all members would get early embarkation.

We'll see if that works.

Glad you're looking forward to your cruise you'll enjoy!

Carnival’s VIP Check-In is an exclusive service. Even though you have those cool luggage tags you must ask for “VIP Check-In†upon arrival at the cruise terminal. Embarkation staff will ensure that you are expedited through the check-in procedure as quickly as is possible, while providing quality service.

You'll also have access to Priority Debarkation via a debarkation letter [delivered to your stateroom evening before debarkation] offering a choice of how to disembark the ship. You will be given the option of Self Assist (where offered) or Priority Debarkation; for Priority Debarkation, you will receive special luggage tags letting you debark the ship after the Self Assist guests but before the remainder of the guests.

We've cruised with Carnival a few times, from many ports and looking forward to Magic's US Inaugural from Galveston 11/14.

Hope this helps!

We have stayed in a suite (OS & GS) on the Freedom twice - last year and just returned last week and neither time did we get any information about Priority Debarkation.

You also get priority for dining. You will get whatever dining time you want, and you will get priority for steakhouse or chefs table reservations.
