Can anyone tell me if it is noisy on Plaza deck on the Summit. This is the deck with Guest services, Shore excursion desk, Normandie Restaurant and the lower level of the Show lounge. Anyone ever stayed on this deck?

We haven't stayed on this deck, but I can tell you a bit about it. Aft of the midship elevators is the Normandie, cinema, computer lab and meeting rooms. There aren't any cabins in that section.

Guest relations, concierge desk, bank, future cruise sales and shore excursions are midship in an open atrium that looks up to deck five. On our three Millennium Class cruises we have always boarded on this deck. In some ports, the passenger gangway is on deck 3 midships. At other times it is deck 2 (we even used deck 1 gangway once).

The entrances to the Celebrity Theatre are on deck 4 and five, so people won't be passing by your door on the way to or from the theatre.

We've dined with passengers who have stayed on that deck about 10 cabins and further forward from the atrium and they didn't complain about the noise (I asked).

Hope this info helps.

We love the Plaza deck. The openness of the floor plan helps make the whole deck feel less confining. Noise has never been a problem and we've stayed on the Plaza deck on the Century, Galaxy and Constellation.

Thanks! I was concerned mostly about the bottom level of the theatre being on this floor

We stayed on the Plaza deck right off Guest Relations and we loved it. We were close to everything and it wasn't noisy at all. I don't know about the opposite end under the theatre though.
