Ok so how is the sushi on the Norwegian Sun. is all you can eat for no charge? did they have many types. How is sushi on NCL overall. i didnt get any last time when i was on Jewel.

I can only tell you what I have read and heard from cliants: I think the price is a la carte, but am not sure about that, it may be a flat cost. I have clients who just got off the Star, they thought it was as good as you would expect from a mass marketed cruise line, others have said it really wasn't very good. Now do I sound like a politician talking out of both sides of my mouth?

It's flat cost, but I will say this... if you are a sushi fan, don't hold your breath. Last fall we were on the Jewel and went to the sushi bar. The food was good, but the menu selection was weak. In other words, nothing creative, just the standard sushi fare. If I eat another California Roll, I'll heave!
Same with the hibachi dining. Been there, done that.

I agree with cruisebuddy about the habichi table but most everyone I know and most of my clients (even from Calif) love the habachi table. This seems to be one of the most sought after places on NCL ships. To each his own.
