SunFlower's Father Has Passed Away

Dear Friends,

Despite all our prayers, hoping and wishing it weren't so ... Pat's father secumbed to congestive heart failure and passed away this afternoon. He was 93 and was no longer strong enough to fight. Annie, his wife of more than 70 years, was at his side.

Pat and I both want to thank everyone for all the prayers and kind thoughts. Your compassion means so much to us and has been a source of strength when the times were darkest. God Bless you, everyone.

And Bob, rest in peace my friend. Thank you for giving me your daughter's hand. I will always keep you in my memories ....

This is very sad to read. It is always difficult to lose someone that we love and the pain is no less even when the passing is not unexpected. My very deepest sympathy to Pat and to all of the family and friends who also loved her father.
