SunFlower's Father Has Passed Away

Awaiting results of mental evaluation
Dear Friends,

Despite all our prayers, hoping and wishing it weren't so ... Pat's father secumbed to congestive heart failure and passed away this afternoon. He was 93 and was no longer strong enough to fight. Annie, his wife of more than 70 years, was at his side.

Pat and I both want to thank everyone for all the prayers and kind thoughts. Your compassion means so much to us and has been a source of strength when the times were darkest. God Bless you, everyone.

And Bob, rest in peace my friend. Thank you for giving me your daughter's hand. I will always keep you in my memories ....

Sweetie my heart goes out to you,he had a long life which is so wonderful, filled with joy, laughter, tears and most of all love.Maybe in this crazy world of ours he and John will meet up,who knows, keep close in your heart the memories of this very special man, your father, mine has been gone 33 years now, went in his 50s like John and there isnt a day i dont remember him, always with joy in my heart that he was my Dad.He was blessed to have you as his daughter as well as you were blessed to have him as your Dad,and that bond doesnt die but continues forever, cause you are a part of him.Dont be afraid to cry or grieve,or miss him, revel in your grief that he was and will still be. Much love my dear friend, know how you are hurting,Im hurting with you,and giving you a big hug,you will be in my prayers tonight and in the days to come, always,Korina

This is very sad to read. It is always difficult to lose someone that we love and the pain is no less even when the passing is not unexpected. My very deepest sympathy to Pat and to all of the family and friends who also loved her father.

Pat and John, I am so sorry to hear this, as we were all hoping for lots more time. I'm happy, however, that you were able to spend time with him recently and let him know how much you loved him. Prayers and hugs are on the way for your entire family.

From the bottom of my heart I send my sincere condolences. There is never enough time with the ones we love, but we hope to one day see them again. May you find a little comfort in that. Susan
