Swim with Dolphins in Cozumel

Will be on Celebrity cruise line visiting Cozumel. On their website they list an awesome sounding shore excursion where you get to swim with the dolphins (not just wade in and "pet" them). Unfortunately they are not offering this excursion on our itinerary. Anyone know if I can book this through another tour agency?

We didn't book any shore excursions in Cozumel. We took a cab to Chankanaab Park ourselves which was much cheaper. Cab $10 Admission to the park $10, renting snorkeling equipment inside the park $5 they also have scuba, swimming with the dolphins in the lagoon , as well as a Botanical gardens, replica of a Mayan ruin, restaurants and gift shops. It is a very nice park and you can arrange to swim with the dolphins there when you arrive. It is a beautiful spot and can do alot of things there.

When I was there this past November, the swim with the dolphins was all sold out. You were unable to make arrangements that day. I would book the way Burbunny suggested. It is a not to be missed tour, the park is beautiful.

Was your ship time different than the island time? I have read to make sure the time is correct when scheduling tours. So, I was just wondering....

Definitely make sure ship time & island time are the same. You also want to allow plenty of time to make it back to the ship the swim takes roughly 2 to 2 1/2 hours with instructional video, individual swim time etc. Our ship (Glory 4-10-04) won't be in port long enough to make it a comfortable excursion for the family. I hate to be watching the clock. You may want to check out www.cozumelinsider.com for price too.
