I read somewhere that it costs $10/day, but, does anyone know how much it costs for the week. This is a 10 day cruise. Any info would be appreciated.

I just finished a cruise on Century and the T-pool was $10 a day unless you were booked in a suite and then it was free! I did see folks booking the T-pool but it was always for 1 or 2 days at a time - I'm not sure if they have a weekly rate. (We were in a suite and used it everyday, it was WONDERFUL!!!)

They do T-pool pass for the whole cruise. To the best of my memory it was bout $40 or $50, but that was a 7 day. Quess thats not much help. I do love the T-pool especially on the Galaxy, Mercury and Century.. I like the fact that they charge-- makes it much more UNcrowded and peacefull- as opposed to the Millie class ships where it seems to turn into another swimming pool that gets busy and difficult for them to police the no children policy.

No charge on the Millennium class ships. Never could figure out why they charge on some of their ships and it is free on others.

Thanks for your help. I'll be on the Galaxy 9/12., in a Cat 2 so I will have to pay. I read where the wk is about $50 so I just wondered if I could get a better deal to pay for 10 days.

BP... they brought the Millie class Ships on stream with advertising ..."No charge for T pools" They then started to charge for them or should I say tried to charge after a lot of passengers including many on the @ddicts board had booked cruises. The internet and other groups bombarded Celebrity with such a mass campagne of letters, calls and emails that the pools remain free still on that class. The brochures however do not mention one way or the other now....so...they will likely be trying to charge again fairly soon.

bseabob,
I agree, but think after three or four years of being free on the Mille class ships they will run into a public relations problem by adding a charge at this point. The uproar should be coming from people on the other Celebrity ships that have to pay. It's only a large hot tub.

BP... the only time I can remember Celebrity being overly concerned with pr was on the Tpool cost on mille class. That time they had to deal with a legal issue as they had advertised it as free and gave in cause they knew they would not win a challenge in a legal sense when they changed it.. we shud make a small wager. ???

Not only is Celebrity not very concerned about image or PR, I doubt any cruiseline would take PR in to consideration when deciding to charge for use of some facility. It really isn't going to keep people away, nor is the free use going to sell cruises. The very worst will be a few who get on the boards and gripe. Bottom line, the cruise line will nickel and dime as much as they can get away with. What the policy is today and what the decide to do in 3 or 4 years is like comparing apples and oranges. What about Princess who charges a service charge if you get money in the casino and put it on your cabin bill? Do you think anyone has said I won't gamble on Princess or won't cruise Princess because of that? I bet not.........NMNIta
