Where do you order your shirts for your group cruisers? I would like to get some for every member of my group cruising on the Triumph in Nov. How much do they cost and what do you suggest getting printed on it? Thanks.

You should check with a place in your area that make and sell the type of shirts you like. Price is usually based on how many you buy and how much you have to put on them. The price can be quite reasonable. We have purchased shirts for groups for many years related to judo camps we have been involved with all over the country and always get some good deals but than we usually buy in large quantities of shirts.

A friend of mine just bought a set of some very nice shirts with his own design on them for a family cruise. There were 18 shirts and they run him $8.50 a shirt but that would vary depending on what the prices are in your area. These were all 100% cotton t-shirts. For our judo groups we have gotten them as low as $3.50 a shirt.

One of the local groups (100 people) that I have sailed with creates a design contest. They have a pre-cruise Meet & Greet party (in our area) about 2 months before sailing and whom ever wishes to submit a design does so on paper. Everyone votes and the best design wins. This is screenprinted on the front while, everyone also signs/writes their name on a large white poster board with a medium point felt tip pen. All Signatures are imposed on the back of each shirt. The ship name, date of the cruise and Group Name is usually included on the shirt as well. You should be able to find a local screenprinter or Novelty Incentive shop that will do the work for under $20 a shirt depending on quantity. The more that is ordered, the lower the price as well as the quality of the t-shirt. Hanes Beefy T 50/50 cotton, is a good quality shirt.
Have fun with it!
